 The Essex Conference Center and Retreat Center is celebrating its 25th year serving National and International groups! ECCR is located on Cape Ann at Boston's North Shore, just 45 minutes from downtown Boston, Massachusetts and 30 minutes from southern New Hampshire. Our private, beautifully landscaped property is set on 18 wooded acres, less than a mile from the ocean. ECCR has been a leader among New England Conference and Retreat Centers for twenty years as a unique venue for hosted retreats, corporate retreats & business meetings, weddings and overnight conferences year round. In addition we have made an environmental commitment to being a green conference and retreat facility.

The Center was a unique and lovely place for our wedding. The grounds were beautifully design and maintained. The staff was wonderful, relaxed and flexible in letting us make the Center ‘ours’ for the weekend. The fire circle was an extra treat. Our guests are still buzzing about the dinner and the special cheese arrangement created by Chef David. He is a gem!
