Facility: Conference Rooms and Services

The Essex Conference Center & Retreat has been hosting group meetings, conferences and retreats for over 20 years. Groups from the Boston area are frequent, though we host many groups from across the United States as well as Europe. The contemporary design of our main building provides a setting of simple elegance. The meeting rooms offer flexible configurations to suit each group's unique needs.

The Center is available for day long meetings as well as an extended stay with overnight accommodations. For some events exclusive use of the Center is available depending on the number of participants and the length of your stay.

Meeting Rooms for Corporate Meetings and Retreats

Three meeting rooms are available at The Essex Conference Center & Retreat:

Our largest meeting room is the Juniper Room with 990 square feet, wall-to-wall carpeting, plenty of natural light by day and abundant overhead lighting for evening meetings. The Juniper Room can be configured to your specifications for up to 55 meeting participants.

The Ledge Room accommodates up to 35 guests, depending on the room set up. At 630 square feet the room offers plenty of space with great natural light for a variety of purposes.

Our third conference room, the Cedar Room, is located in a separate building close to the main building of the Center. Ample windows with views of the gardens and pond make its 325 square foot size seem larger and airy. The Cedar Room is suitable for a group of 15 or less.

The Center is equipped with high speed wireless internet access in all buildings as well as the immediate outside area.

Our staff is available to assist you in creating a comfortable environment that supports your productivity. Our Events Coordinator works with your meeting planner in advance of your group's arrival so when you arrive, your attention can be completely dedicated to achieving your goals and objectives.
