11-HOUR SUNDAY WEDDING

Enjoy the Center and beautiful gardens with your guests for a full day. When a 4 hour wedding reception just isn't enough, spend a your special day celebrating at the Center. Use of the Center from 12:00pm until 11:00pm on Sunday.

Our wedding packages are designed for your convenience and are a wonderful starting point to plan your special day, however we welcome and encourage you to create your own unique event.

Sunday Wedding Special Package Includes:

  • Use of the Center and our beautiful 18 acres
  • Experienced professional wedding planner
  • Pre-wedding tasting of chosen dinner entrees and salad
  • Friendly, personable fuction staff to cater to your guests needs
  • Helpful parking attendants for the afternoon of your reception
  • Use of the gardens, lawns or trails for your Ceremony
  • 40 x 60, lighted reception tent
  • Tables, white chairs and a linen credit at our selected vendor
  • Cutting of your cake is always a complimentary service
  • Options to host your rehearsal dinner or other on-site events

Wedding Reception

Your Wedding Reception will feature delicious appetizers and a sumptuous meal, all perfectly prepared by our Executive Chef and culinary team. Our Chef specializes in beautifully presented, innovative reception menus served either plated or buffet style.

Thinking about having a Lobster Bake or casual BBQ option, let us know and we would be delighted to share our menu options with you. If you prefer to serve vegetarian, vegan or authentic cuisine we will work with you on a customized menu for your specific requests.

Overnight Accommodations

The Essex Conference Center & Retreat is a unique venue where your guests can enjoy the convenience of having overnight accommodations for after your celebration. Friends and family can enjoy the comfort and privacy of individual guest rooms. Every contemplative guest room is decorated with functional furnishings and overlooks our wooded property or gardens. No two rooms are exactly alike.

Up to 20 guest rooms are available for your guests to rent for Sunday evening.
